What: Changeworks Publishing & Consulting empowers, educates and connects parents of teenagers. As an information marketer, we create and deliver solutions, tips and resources targeted directly at the needs of parents of teenagers and the parent leaders and professionals who work with them.

Who: Sue Blaney is the founder and president of Changeworks Publishing & Consulting, and is a communications expert with 30 years experience in communications, training, marketing and sales. Sue is passionate about providing support for parents of teenagers, observing that many parents of teenagers are bombarded with conflicting messages and feel unsure about their changing role. Using her personal and professional experience, she provides tools that connect parents of teens while helping them explore the range of issues they are likely to face. She believes that parents benefit from learning and sharing with one another, and that “empowerment” comes through personal experiences such as those Changeworks facilitates.

Established: Changeworks Publishing & Consulting was established in 2002.

Tele-Seminars:  Sue runs tele-seminars for parents in the workplace through Employee Assistance Providers and businesses; for members of professional associations, and for the general public.

Podcasts: Sue’s bi-weekly podcast program “Parenting Teens: Easier Said Than Done” is launching December 2007.

Writing: In addition to the vast quantity of helpful articles written by Sue at www.PleaseStoptheRollercoaster.com, Sue has written articles for American School Counselors Journal, PTO Today, and Middle Ground a publication of the National Middle School Association.

Consulting: Sue offers consultation for community groups and educators on setting up parent discussion groups and increasing parent involvement in education.
