parenting teenagers beginning April 16, 2008.
This hands-on course will help you
improve communication, enhance family dynamics and take the right actions to
keep your teens safe.
Parenting teenagers today
comes with new challenges as parents face a culture that often feels at odds
with the values they are trying to teach, pressures that make family-time
all too infrequent, and fears around kids getting involved in risky
behavior. Join me, Sue Blaney, as I lead this special program for parents of
teens. This tele-seminar is a personal, and effective way to learn and
connect with other parents.
This tele-seminar will be
given over a three-week period in three tele-conference calls. Participants
will receive hand outs and exercises and will call in to this live program.
(Each session of the program will be recorded so if you can't make it live
you may listen to the recording on your own time.) Each session will last
one hour and 15 minutes and will include lecture and discussion. The
group is limited to 20 participants.

Week 1: APRIL 16, 2008 8:00 pm EST
De-Mystifying Teens: We'll examine what drives teenagers' behavior, and why
they act they way they do. Parents will examine strategies and appropriate
responses.
Week 2: APRIL 23, 2008 8:00 pm EST
Improving Communication: This workshop will offer hands-on strategies
parents can employ to improve communication with teens.
Week 3: APRIL 30, 2008 8 pm noon EST
Keeping Kids Safe from Risky Behavior: This discussion will focus on what
parents can do to keep teens safe from engagement in risky behavior.
